A Kenyan lawyer, Cherotich Koech, has opened up about her painful breakup with a man she loved and supported through tough times.

In an emotional interview with Tuko, Cherotich revealed that she had been the one financially supporting her boyfriend, even going as far as paying for his education, believing they had a future together.

However, to her shock, she discovered that the man had been secretly dating another woman the entire time.

She said: “I gave him my heart, my time, and even contributed to his education. I believed in us,” she said.

“But while I was still holding on to our dreams, he was already holding someone else.”

“Let him shine. Let him post. But let it be known, some of us truly loved, and truly lost,”

“I’m focused on my life and growth. But that doesn’t erase the fact that I once gave my all to someone who later replaced me with a post,”
