Man Sentenced to 35 Years Imprisonment for Sh**ting his Sister And Parents Over Dirty Dishes Argument

A Milwaukee man has been sentenced to 35 years in prison after he f*t*lly sh*t his sister and wounded both parents during a vi*lent altercation over dirty dishes.

The convict, Gerardo Jimenez-Rico, reportedly opened f!re on his family on January 22, 2025, just hours after they returned from a month-long vacation to Mexico — a trip he didn’t attend due to financial struggles.

According to court documents, Gerardo told police he had long felt bullied by his family over his unemployment. He claimed the tipping point came when his father confronted him about dishes piling up in the sink. Though he argued that the plumbing was backed up, the situation escalated when his father told him to move out, a sentiment echoed by his 22-year-old sister, Jocelyn Jimenez.

In a fit of rage, Gerardo retrieved a f!rearm and sh*t his father, then turned the gun on Jocelyn. He later told investigators that Jocelyn grabbed a kn*fe, and he f!red again, claiming he was acting in self-defense. As his mother entered the room, she was also sh*t.

An autopsy later revealed that Jocelyn had been sh*t four times — in the chest, back, arm, and lungs. She died at the scene. Both parents survived the sh**ting but were hospitalized with serious injuries.

Despite his admission, Gerardo claimed he “did not intend” to k-ll anyone and “could not explain why” he acted the way he did.

On Tuesday, a Milwaukee County judge sentenced Jimenez-Rico to 35 years in prison with an additional 19 years of supervised release, following his guilty plea last month to charges including: First-degree reckless homicide, Attempted second-degree intentional homicide and First-degree reckless injury
