A Nigerian man has taken to social media to express his heartbreak after discovering that his girlfriend had been cheating on him—even though he had been financially supportive and emotionally invested in their relationship.

In an anonymous post shared by X (formerly Twitter) user Sir Dickson, the man revealed that he had been giving his girlfriend a steady monthly allowance of N400,000. Despite his efforts to treat her well, he was devastated to find out she had been unfaithful.

He also shared that they had met on Snapchat and questioned why some women cheat on partners who are genuinely sincere with them.
