Kogi Man Faints After Wife Gives Birth to Triplets

A man identified as Adamu Muhammed Tenimu reportedly fainted at the Federal University Teaching Hospital in Lokoja, Kogi State, after receiving unexpected news — his wife had just given birth to triplets.

According to eyewitnesses, the emotional scene unfolded shortly after the delivery, when Tenimu learned that all three newborns were girls. Shocked and overwhelmed, he collapsed on the spot.

Nurses and sympathizers quickly rushed to his aid and were able to revive him.

Although he was successfully revived, Muhammed told journalists that he is currently unemployed. He explained that he fainted because he couldn’t afford to care for the babies, as he and his wife had only planned for one child.

Shedding tears, He said: “I thank God for this miracle, but I am confused and sad. I didn’t know we were expecting triplets. Right now, we don’t even have the means and financial capacity to pay the hospital bills, let alone care for three babies at once.

“This blessing is huge, but so is the burden. I don’t even have money to buy diapers or baby food. I don’t know where to start,”
