Man Discovers Eerie Abandoned House Deep in the Woods, Finds Forgotten Items Including a Car

An abandoned house hidden deep in the woodland near Camelford, Cornwall has been uncovered — and it looks like it was left untouched for years.

According to a report by WhatstheJam, urban explorer Sean Piper, known online as SeanUrbex, stumbled upon the eerie property and shared haunting images of the interior on his Instagram page.

Inside the decaying home, everyday items were left behind, as if the residents vanished suddenly. Dust-covered mugs, egg cups, piles of boxes, lamps, and even old clothing like pants were scattered throughout the house. Books and photo albums lay open on the bed, adding to the haunting atmosphere.

Speaking to WhatstheJam about his discovery, SeanUrbexsaid: “We hopped a small farm gate and there it was – The Brass House.

“It is known by many explorers, but I’m not really sure why it’s been left for so long.

“Access was through a small second-story window – I’m glad there was a rusty old ladder on site.

“There was a lot of overgrown land and a few rusty cars.

“It seemed so peaceful.

“Inside the house, everything remains inside frozen in time.

“The brass hanging on the fireplace was a highlight.

“Plus, the house had been carefully decorated by the lady who lived here alone.”
