Late Nollywood Veteran Nkechi Nweje Laid to Rest in Anambra State

The late veteran Nollywood actress, Nkechi Nweje, has been laid to rest in her hometown in Anambra State, weeks after her passing on March 21, 2025, following a battle with an undisclosed illness.

The emotional burial ceremony was attended by family, friends, colleagues from the Nollywood industry, and well-wishers who came to pay their last respects to the beloved actress known for her remarkable roles in numerous Nigerian films.

Notably, Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, was also present at the burial to pay his last respect to her
