Man Arrested for Killing Ex-Girlfriend After She Informed Him of Her Upcoming Wedding

A man identified as Ogbonna, popularly known as “Mourinho,” has been arrested by the police in Enugu State for allegedly killing his ex-girlfriend, Chisom Ayogu.

According to reports, the tragic incident occurred at Ogbonna’s residence on New Anglican Road in Nsukka Local Government Area. Chisom had reportedly visited him to inform him about her upcoming wedding.

During the visit, an altercation reportedly broke out, and Ogbonna allegedly assaulted her. By the time help arrived, Chisom was found unconscious on the floor. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
