Mom Faces Backlash for Breastfeeding Her 3-Year-Old Daughter

A mother has sparked heated reactions on social media after revealing that she resumed breastfeeding her three-year-old daughter.

The mother explained that the decision was made on medical grounds, after she developed a milk cyst due to abruptly stopping breastfeeding.

Reading the doctor’s report, she said: “I’m starting to think it’s a milk cyst due to recently stopping breastfeeding. I’m just going to try and monitor it, but I’d still like to be safe and sorry. Can Amaya suck the cyst out? Potentially. And pop it? If it’s a blocked duct, Yes. If it’s truly an obstruction, continuing to nurse will help.

She added: “Do you guys see that? March 25th. She text me back March 26th, and today is March 27th. My 3 year old is allowed to nurse on my breast if she wants to. To get this cyst the heck out. Just because she’s three. And it seems so freaking unnatural to you guys. It is the most natural thing in the freaking world. Like, educate yourselves on breastfeeding, please.”
