Mum in Tears As Son She Forced to Attend School Dies

A mother in Tanzania has been left heartbroken after discovering that her son, who had left for school, was later found dead.

In an emotional interview with Wasafi TV, she shared the pain of losing her child and recalled the last moments she saw him alive, describing his condition and mood before the tragic incident.

She said: “The child woke up yesterday, and went to school And after going, I woke up so I can go handle my things. Some kids came to pick things I had kept for them and by the time they were done, I realised it was too late to go do business. So I decided to do laundry. Then I saw her friends whom she plays with around and I asked them why they were not in school and they told me they had finished their exams.

She shared that one day, after learning her son hadn’t gone to school, she went looking for him and eventually found him at a place where local kids gather to play video games. She confronted him, asking why he hadn’t come straight home after school.

That evening, she brought him home, had dinner with him, and even prayed together before bed. The next morning, she personally walked him to school, determined to make sure he didn’t go back to the gaming spot again.

She added: “He said okay and told me he goes to school. The next morning, he told the youngest to go to school and his son, ran away. I tried calling her brother to look for him and said we should let him just go to school. I went up to where I found him the previous evening and did not find him.

“I went to his friend’s place and they told me they went to school. When I went back home I found the school head who told me he was dead. He has hurt me, the thorn I he has shown me I have never seen,”
