Indian Man Who Married Off His Wife to Her Lover Begs Her to Return 4 Days After the Wedding

A man from India has gone viral for a surprising act of love and sacrifice — arranging his wife’s marriage to another man.

According to a report by India Today, Bablu, a resident of Uttar Pradesh’s Sant Kabir Nagar, took the unusual step of marrying off his wife, Radhika, to her lover, Vikas, after she confessed her desire to be with him.

The couple, Bablu and Radhika, had been married since 2017 and have two children together. However, due to Bablu’s busy work schedule, Radhika developed feelings for another man in their village.

When Bablu discovered the affair, he confronted his wife and asked her to choose between him and her lover. To his heartbreak, Radhika chose Vikas. Instead of reacting with anger, Bablu decided to support her decision. He even went so far as to prepare legal documentation (an affidavit) and arranged a temple wedding for Radhika and Vikas.

At first, Bablu said he would raise their children alone. However, just four days after the wedding, he had a change of heart. Realizing how difficult it would be to raise the children on his own — and admitting he still loved his wife — Bablu went to Vikas’s house to ask Radhika to return.

After a long conversation, Radhika agreed to come back with Bablu. The couple has since reunited, and Bablu has even proposed that they remarry.
