Ghanaian Woman Dies 6 Months After Her Marriage

Tragedy has struck as Abena Serwah Brobbey, a Ghanaian woman, has passed away just six months after marrying her husband, who is based abroad.

The sad news was shared by Facebook user EvaVera Tetteyfio, who revealed that Abena died due to a brief illness.

EvaVera also shared that Abena was laid to rest on March 29th, 2025. Her funeral rites were held at Osika Hotel at Kromoase New Site in Kumasi, where family, friends, and loved ones gathered to pay their final respects.

She wrote: “I told you I was going to see you the next morning Abena but you couldn’t wait for me mmmmmm. As i left that night, you held my hand and said Naa don’t go; don’t leave me. With a smile, I reassured you that I’ll be back in the morning hoping that you’ll wait till i returned in the morning but you couldn’t wait for me. Mmmmmm rest easy Abena Serwah . So teach us to number our days Lord that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom”
