Barack Obama Hilariously Photobombs Family Picture, Responds After Viral Moment

Former U.S. President Barack Obama has responded after unintentionally photobombing a family picture that quickly went viral online.

The unexpected moment happened when Portia Moore was watching her two kids, Preston and Belle, on Monday morning while family photographer Briana Inell captured their photos under a beautiful cherry blossom tree at the Washington, D.C. Tidal Basin.

As the photographer snapped away, Obama casually strolled behind the children, dressed in black corporate-style pants, a white button-down shirt, a baseball cap, and sunglasses.

At the time, Portia was focused on keeping an eye on her 20-month-old son, ensuring he didn’t wander too close to the water. Meanwhile, her husband suddenly noticed the former president in the background of their family shoot.

She said: “My husband’s like “That’s Obama, I didn’t know what he was saying. I was like, “Yeah, whatever I’m looking at Preston right now.”‘

Confused by what her husband was saying, she only realized what had happened when she went to pick up her son and asked him to repeat himself.

“That’s Obama!” he replied.

‘We went to the photographer and she scrolled back, and we’re like “We got it,”‘ Moore said.

She then posted the photo on Instagram showing her daughter dressed in a pink dress and pink sneakers while her hair was packed while her brother was seen in a denim jacket and trouser and a gray canvas.

She wrote: “Look who strolled by in our picture for our family Cherry Blossom photo shoot!

Story time! It’s the kids turn to take a photo together and Damien is saying something to me. I’m just focused on Preston not running towards the water (peak mom moment). After that shoot was done I pick Preston up and asked Damien “what were you saying”? He goes “that was President Obama who just walked by” and looks his direction. I was like whaaaaat?! I ran to the photographer and asked her if she got the picture. She scrolls through and BOOM there is it! The perfect shot!

This story is one to remember and the picture is a family heirloom (literally). And nope, we did not bother him on his much needed peaceful stroll”
