Bride Attacked at Her Bachelorette Party Just a Month Before Her Wedding

A bride-to-be’s bachelorette party, meant to be one of the happiest moments of her life, turned into a nightmare after she was brutally attacked.  

The 27-year-old woman, identified as Canada Rinaldi, was assaulted just a month before she was set to walk down the aisle with the father of her two children.  

As a result of the attack, she suffered severe injuries, including losing three teeth, a broken nose, two black eyes, a torn forehead, and a concussion.

Speaking to the daily mail, Rinaldi said: “My entire right side of my face looks completely different. I don’t even know how to describe it – it’s just a different shape than it used to be. It’s hard to tell if it’s just swelling or if there’s more damage underneath.

“She was covered in blood – there was a puddle on the street, and we couldn’t even tell where the blood was coming from because it was everywhere,’ Canada’s 23-year-old sister Brieanna Rinaldi said 

Brieanna continued: ” At first, it seemed like he was reaching for her cowboy hat – but he swung his arm back and struck her. She collapsed on the concrete, face down”

The attack happened while Canada Rinaldi and her friends were waiting for their Uber driver to arrive.  

Just as their ride pulled up, a man identified as 27-year-old Trevor Woodards suddenly appeared and punched Canada in the face, knocking her unconscious on the street.  

Police later tracked Trevor down and arrested him for the assault. He had recently been released on parole and had a lengthy criminal history, including charges of assault, burglary, misdemeanor assault, and even attacking a police officer.  

Canada stated that she had no prior connection to Trevor. However, after reviewing the Uber dashcam footage, she noticed that he had been sitting on a curb watching them. As soon as they moved toward their Uber, he got up and attacked them.

She added; “Since it was just a group of us, we didn’t really pay any attention to anyone else. If we danced, we all danced together. I don’t think anyone came up to us. Nobody bought us drinks. We didn’t have any interaction with anyone else”
