Bear Enters Pond to Chase Goose Before Feasting on One (Video)

A dramatic moment between a bear and a group of geese was captured on CCTV as the birds were attacked.

In the footage, the geese could be heard crying out for help as they hurried out of a pond while the bear attempted to break into the fenced area.

After struggling to get inside, the bear eventually climbed over the fence and attacked one of the geese, before leaving the pond and the rest of the birds behind.

According to NeedToKnow, the bear returned a week later, but this time, it found no geese to feast on.

In a separate shocking encounter caught on camera, a man named Mr. Patr was walking in the woods of Slovakia with his dog when he came face-to-face with an aggressive bear and her cubs.

In the video, he could be seen doing his best to scare the bear away, holding a small axe, while his dog barked fiercely in an attempt to ward off the animal.

Narrating the experience, he said: “She flattened her ears and charged me, I had bear spray with me, but it didn’t help.

“So I took out an axe and hid behind a tree.

“Every time she attacked, I hit her on the head.”

“If I didn’t have the axe, she would have killed me on the spot.”
