Indian Influencer Dhanashree Verma Releases Song About Cheating and Domestic Violence After Divorce With Husband

Popular Indian choreographer and social media influencer Dhanashree Verma has stunned social media users with the release of her new song, which touches on themes of infidelity and domestic violence. The release comes shortly after her divorce from Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal.

Speculation about their split had been circulating for a while, especially after Yuzvendra deleted all their photos from Instagram and both unfollowed each other.

Now, Dhanashree’s latest song seems to subtly hint at the pain she endured. The lyrics include: “”Dekha ji dekha maine, apno ka rona dekha. Gairon ke bistar pe, apno ka sona dekha”

In translation to english it says , “I saw it, I saw my own people cry. I saw my own sleeping on strangers’ beds

In another part, she said: Dil tera bacha hai, nibhana bhool jata hai. Naya khilauna dekh ke, purana bhool jata hai

Meaning in English: “Your heart is so naive that it forgets to stay loyal. The moment it finds a new toy, it forgets about the old one”

Chahal and Verma’s divorce was finalized at a Bandra court, reportedly due to compatibility issues.

During the proceedings, Chahal was spotted wearing a T-shirt that read, “Be your own sugar daddy,” while Verma kept it simple in a white T-shirt, jeans, and a black nose mask.

The couple initially filed for divorce on February 5. However, on February 20, the family court denied their request to waive the mandatory six-month cooling-off period.

They had been living separately since June 2022, just 18 months after their marriage.
