X Factor Singer Zair Guette and his Manager Found Dead After Kidnapping in Colombia

Tragic news has emerged as X Factor singer Zair Guette has been found dead after being kidnapped while traveling to perform at a concert.

According to reports, his body was discovered on Friday morning in a grassy field in the rural town of Ginebra, Colombia, about 30 miles northeast of Cali. Authorities found him bound at the hands and legs with multiple gunshot wounds.

His manager, Teddy Guevara, was also found just a few feet away, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and with a zip tie around his neck. Though he was still alive when authorities arrived, he was rushed to the hospital, where he sadly passed away on Saturday morning.

Before his death, Guevara revealed to police that they had been ambushed by multiple armed men and taken to an unknown location, where they were brutally tortured.

Before his death, Zair Guette gained recognition in the music industry for performing interpretations of legendary Mexican mariachi singer Vicente Fernández. After making a name for himself, he embarked on international tours, performing in Spain and Italy.
