A Nigerian woman, @bidemi_akins, is celebrating a bittersweet milestone: the one-year anniversary of losing her legs to cancer.

She shared her story, reflecting on the difficult decision she faced in February 2023 when she had to choose between her life and her limbs.

Celebrating, she wrote: “One year ago today, I lost my leg to cancer. The enemy’s plan was not just for me to lose my leg, but for me to be buried. But Today I stand as proof that God is not done with me. That his mercy speaks louder than any verdict of the enemy. Thank you lord Jesus “
