Nollywood actress Pat Ugwu is dead

Nollywood actress Pat Ugwu has passed away at the age of 35.

The heartbreaking news was announced by Nollywood actor Emeka Okoye, who shared a tribute alongside a touching caption:  

“Rest in peace, sis. Pat Ugwu. @patpat_ugwu, so we don’t get to work again? Death, why? 😭😭😭 God, please. Rest in peace, Pat. May your soul rest in the bosom of the Lord.”

He also expressed deep concern over the rising number of unexpected deaths in the industry, adding:  

“God, please protect all my colleagues, especially those close to me. This unusual loss is frightening. I proclaim life for everyone around me this 2025 in the precious blood of Jesus. Amen.”
