A trans woman named Zaya Perysian took to social media to express her frustration after discovering the gender listed on her updated passport.
Zaya, who was assigned male at birth, underwent transition surgery and had all her documents updated to reflect her gender as female. However, when she received her new passport, she was shocked to find it had been changed back to male.
She revealed that she was first notified of this change via mail.
In an emotional statement, Zaya said: “I am an adult and i have undergone my full medical transition there is nothing about me anymore that represents male on the exterior whatsoever, the only that them deny to put female on my passport does is put me in danger while travelling but that is all it does, Im in danger now…… they are only doing this to scare people like me because they don’t want us in public life they want us to hide in fear and be scared of them but trust me i am not going anywhere……. Trans people have been here and we are staying here and i will fight this.
She went on to say: “I am not scared I’m not scared, I am not gonna cry I can still leave the country if i need to but this (Passport) saying male is crazy this is a direct violation of my rights as an american citizen under the equal rights ammendment this is a violation of my rights in general.”

Teddi Mellencamp has revealed that she has been diagnosed with brain tumors.
She shared the news with her fans on social media, explaining that she had been experiencing persistent headaches.
After undergoing a CT scan and MRI at the hospital, doctors discovered tumors growing in her brain, which they believe have been developing for about six months.
Teddi also announced that she is undergoing surgery today to remove the larger tumors.

Former New York City model Lea Encarnacion is suing a beauty company conglomerate over a 2020 incident that left her with severe scalp injuries.
Lea was working as a hair model for the brand at a Long Beach convention when, according to her, the stylists applied a hair bleaching product but failed to remove it in time. As a result, she suffered significant scalp damage, and she has provided photos to support her claims.
According to TMZ, Lea’s attorneys from the California firm RMD Law say that since the incident, her hair has not grown back, leaving her with permanent bald spots.
She is suing for general negligence and product liability, with the trial set to begin this month.

A tragic incident unfolded in the Githogoro area near Runda, Nairobi, on Tuesday morning, February 11, 2025, as a woman identified as Monica Junior Wa Githogoro allegedly took her own life after murdering her three children.

A shocking incident has gone viral after CCTV footage captured the terrifying moment a woman’s phone exploded while in her back pocket, setting her jeans on fire.

Shortly after, firefighters arrived at the scene, providing first aid before transporting her to a local hospital in Anápolis, northwest of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Doctors later confirmed that she suffered second-degree burns and will need to undergo skin graft surgery to treat the affected area.
Her husband shared that his wife is traumatized by the incident. He is now raising awareness, urging people—especially parents with young children—to be cautious about carrying phones in their pockets.
He said: “She’s really traumatised. I’m speaking out mainly to raise awareness.
“A lot of people have kids, and this is really dangerous.
“So, it’s important to stay alert, because, just like it happened to her, it could happen to others.”
