DJ Unk Is Dead, Cause of Death Revealed

Popular NYC DJ, Unk, has passed away.  

According to TMZ, his wife, Sherkita Long Platt, revealed that he died in his sleep on January 24th following a heart attack.  

While there were rumors suggesting his death was drug-related, Sherkita firmly debunked them.  

A candlelight vigil in his honor is scheduled to take place today in his Atlanta neighborhood.  

In an emotional Facebook post, Sherkita wrote: “Please respect me and my family. I just lost my husband, and my kids just lost their father. Our life will never be the same. I LOVE YOU, ANTHONY, FOREVER.”
