A couple who have never seen each other has shared their inspiring love story, revealing they have been happily married for 14 years despite both living with visual impairments.
The couple explained that people often question how they manage their daily lives and household responsibilities without sight. The husband shared how some neighbors even visited their home just to watch his wife cook, amazed by how she navigated the kitchen.
The wife recalled, “We lived for 14yrs actually in the beginning of our wedding, some people did not believe we can sit on our own, they brought their children they should come and stay with us but we ended up caring for the children rather than helping us
Her husband added, “There was a family close to us where they are not always in peace they are always fighting always fighting anytime they are fighting the talk is see even a blind man is supplying things to his family
When discussing how they handle housework and sanitation, the wife explained, “The day that we do sanitation in our house we do things together as we are picking things carrying that he is also helping us to raise the heavy ones helping us with water, mopping while we do other sweeping
“Actually if not until this accident we always wash together every weekend they know us, we wash together we do our cooking stuffs together sometimes i will be cooking he will be there in the kitchen saying “Okay where should i help you”
How They Met
The husband shared their love story, which began at the University of Jos. He was studying for a diploma in Mass Communication, while she was pursuing a diploma in Special Education.
He said, “We first met in University of Jos when i was doing my diploma program in mass communication and she was doing her diploma program in special education i discovered then she had a good radio world receiver we used to call it world receiver and im somebody who is in love with radio
She added: “When he first came to me that was in 2003 August i remember the first day he came actually he said ‘ah who is listening to radio here’ and i said it is me and he said can you please borrow me i wanted to get something about the headlines then one day he came to me and said I came for MA he then asked ‘ what is MA’ he now said ‘you dont know’ I said ‘ i don’t know’ he said ‘Maganan aure’ to talk about marriage i now said ‘Maganan aure’ how …….. why did you choose to come to do ‘Maganan aure’ are you planning to marry me so i would help you in the doings of things he now said no ‘it is you i am interested in’ so i now said ‘okay’ if that is the case let’s pray about it and see if it is really the will of God
“October that same year that was when i said let’s start off the courtship and let’s see but you know i’m not from this state so if i leave Jos if you are truly someone that cares or love the lady you saw as you say then you will meet me where i am so when i left then there was no phone but he used to call me via my mother’s office land line before he now finally came to our house in 2005 and introduced himself to my parents that he has been calling and greeting them but his true intention is to marry ………. he travelled from Jos all the way to maiduguri
He added: “We started the courtship 2003, 2005, until 2010 before we got married, the wedding was a surprise to many people many people came since then we have been together to this time we have 4 kids, two boys and two girls.”
Advice on Love
The wife offered advice on choosing a life partner saying, “When you make choice of love you choose to love someone for me as i choose to love him from the beginning of our courtship I accepted whatever comes from him and i discovered that he is someone that is patient
Describing His Wife
The husband described his wife with admiration, saying, “My wife is somebody that is very very respectful, she is somebody that listens the way she handles out children whenever they are sick she knows how to give them medications she knows how to feed them, she knows how to go with anything that has to do with them as if she is not having a visual challenge.

According to reports, Li allegedly invited Athena on what was presented as a luxury getaway to the Philippines, telling her that she needed some cheering up following a breakup.
However, Li reportedly cancelled her own flight after claiming that something had unexpectedly come up.
Athena subsequently travelled alone from Guangzhou, China, to Manila, Philippines.
Following her disappearance, Li reportedly deleted her social media accounts and left the country, further raising suspicions about her alleged involvement in the case.
According to reports, Athena’s family later paid approximately $800,000 (£593,000) in ransom in an attempt to secure her release.
However, the payment reportedly did not lead to Athena being freed.
The investigation continued for more than a year as authorities worked to establish what had happened to the missing influencer.
One alleged member of the gang, Chen Yuxuan, was reportedly arrested in South Korea in September 2024.
A significant development in the case reportedly followed on July 20, when alleged gang mastermind Liu Hanwen was extradited from the United States to China.
Following his return to China, investigators reportedly made a devastating discovery.
Reports said authorities determined that Athena had been murdered and that her body had subsequently been disposed of.

Popular Chef Eren Kaşıkçı Passes Away After Suffering Heart Attack
Popular Turkish chef and MasterChef Turkey winner, Eren Kaşıkçı, has sadly passed away.
According to reports, concerns were raised after his relatives were unable to reach him for some time. They alerted the authorities, prompting emergency responders to visit his residence.
When paramedics arrived at his home in Istanbul on July 29, Eren was found unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Eren Kaşıkçı rose to national fame after winning MasterChef Turkey in 2021. Following his victory, he returned to compete in the show’s All-Star edition, where he continued to impress viewers with his culinary skills.
Widely known by his nickname “Kızıl Sakal” (Red Beard), Eren later fulfilled his dream of opening his own restaurant, Kızıl Sakal Sandwich & Burger, in Istanbul.
He was reportedly preparing to launch a second branch before his sudden passing.
Before becoming a television personality, Eren studied tourism and trained professionally as a chef. He worked in several hotels across Istanbul before serving as the head chef of a hotel on the Aegean island of Gökçeada.
The late chef is survived by his wife and their young daughter, Maya.
His funeral ceremony was held on July 31 at Yenidoğan Cemevi, after which he was laid to rest in his family’s hometown in Tokat Province.

Adejoke revealed that at the time, her husband was a university graduate who held a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
She admitted that she initially dismissed what he told her because she believed such stories only happened in movies.
She explained:
“I didn’t take him seriously, he was just restless After a week, I came back from school, we had power supply, His friend was seeing in the chair in the living room He (Her husband) was sleeping on the floor I saw a liquid black solution in a bottle on the table and then I went back to the living room and watched the TV with his friend, he just woke up and his reds, I wondered what happened, His eyes were red like that of sango, It was red I was wondering what happened and the next thing, he started pointing at my child and was asking which child is this, who is the owner of this child and I looked at his friend I was surprised or was he dreaming.
“He brought out money and was counting and he said police officers make alot of money when he was counting the money, then i remembered that he told me the previous week .. His friend had no idea that my husband had told me everything I looked at his friend, as I looked at his friend I started crying and I was shaking and we had tenants downstairs, His friend took be to the balcony and his friend does not know that my husband had told me everything and his friend told me the same thing my husband told me he told me again and then I was saying i am in trouble his friend then begin calming me he does not want those people downstairs to know what is going on”
The gospel singer said she immediately decided to seek spiritual intervention after the frightening incident.
According to her, she left home with her child and went to Asejire Mountain, where she met her prophet, Israel Olarenwaju, to seek guidance and prayers.
She recalled:
“Instantly I wore cloth and went to a prophet at Asejire mountain I called him and when i called him I was crying and i asked him how can i see him asking if he was on the mountain or church as she is coming now and he kept asking what happned and i told him let me come first that I can’t explain on phone, After the call, I backed my child, and went to Akinola Junction to take bike and i was crying till i dropped at at Asejire Junction even people in the bus were asking what happened and when i went to the mountain i met my prophet (Israel Olarenwaju) he is still alive, he was smiling and the prophet said my husband must come and do 21 days on the mountain he said he did not tell him to bring anything, that he should just bring 5 litres keg for prayer water for him to come (Her husband) he did not go just 21 days”
