Tenable CEO dies After Battle with Cancer

Amit Yoran, a well known CEO in a cybersecurity company, has sadly passed away after a battle with cancer.

Before his death, Yoran served as the Chairman and CEO of Tenable, a globally recognized cybersecurity company.

The company shared the heartbreaking news in a public statement: “It is with profound sadness that Tenable Holdings, Inc. announces the passing of our Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Amit Yoran,’ the company wrote. 

“Amit passed away unexpectedly yesterday. He had been battling cancer.”‘A visionary leader and a pioneer in the cybersecurity industry, Amit dedicated his life to making the digital world safer.

“His unwavering commitment to innovation and relentless pursuit of excellence transformed Tenable into a global leader in exposure management.”

He was made the CEO of the company in 2016, Yoran had already built an impressive career in the tech industry. He was the founding CEO of NetWitness, a former CEO of In-Q-Tel, and served as president of RSA, a prominent American company specializing in security solutions and encryption technologies.
