A Nigerian man has shared his frustration on social media after his friend’s girlfriend refused to return money he mistakenly sent to her.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he explained that he accidentally sent ₦300,000 to her instead of the intended ₦600,000. When he asked her to return the money, she reportedly responded by hurling insults at his friend.

She wrote: “Useless babes dey this country sha. I’ve been hearing of this exact thing happening to people but this happened to someone I I know. IJGB mistakenly sent money twice to babe. Wanted to send 300k. Sent twice so 600k. Oya send 300k back. Babe no gree, quarrel start, she insult the guy untop. IJGB got his bank involved, that he wanted the entire 600k back. The babe no believe say e possible. She even called police. Last last na she use her hand sign the documents consenting to the reversal of that 600k
