179 People dies in Plane Crash at South Korea Airport

A tragic incident occurred in South Korea, where 179 people were confirmed dead after a plane carrying 181 passengers skidded off the runway and crashed into a wall.

The flight was returning from Bangkok, Thailand, and the accident took place at Muan International Airport in South Korea.

According to South Korea’s emergency office, the crash was caused by a malfunction in the plane’s landing gear, compounded by a bird strike.

The National Fire Agency reported that 82 men and 83 women died in the crash, but two crew members—a man and a woman—survived after being rescued from the plane’s tail.
