I have been pretending to be my twin sister all this while- Influencer cries, reveals Twin died 5yrs ago

Influencer Annie Niu has made a heartbreaking revelation, admitting that she has been pretending to be her late twin sister for years to protect her grandparents from the devastating news. 

In a tearful video posted on her TikTok page, Annie shared that her twin sister passed away five years ago from viral meningitis. 

Fearing the emotional toll it could take on her grandparents, especially at their age, Annie decided to keep the news from them. She finally gathered the courage to tell her family last year when her grandmother was on her deathbed last year july.

However, this led to a surprising reaction—her family took down every photo featuring her late sister from their home. 

Annie captioned the video: “You finally told your family that your twin sister passed away five years ago, and they took down every single family photo that had her in it (which is pretty much every photo in their home).”

Reflecting on her decision, Annie explained: “I didn’t want to withhold this information, but I also didn’t want to cause them more heartbreak. And God forbid, they’re 92, and something happens.”

To this day, Annie’s grandfather remains unaware of her twin’s passing.
