Popular Billionaire, Isak Andic dies after falling off mountain during Family trip

Spain’s richest man, Isak Andic, has tragically passed away following a fatal accident during a family trip in Catalonia. 

The billionaire, known as the founder of the Mango clothing empire, reportedly slipped and fell nearly 500 feet into a ravine near the Collbató Caves, located in the picturesque Montserrat mountain range.

According to reports, his son, Jonathan Andic, alerted emergency services after attempting to save his father. 

Jonathan recounted that he heard rocks and sand falling behind him before realizing his father had fallen.

During the scene, A large rescue team, including helicopters, quickly arrived at the scene, but sadly, there was nothing they could do to save the 71-year-old businessman. 

His body was recovered around 3:30 PM the same day and transferred to the Institute of Legal and Forensic Medicine of Catalonia for an autopsy.

his death was also confirmed by Catalan president Salvador Illa  who also paid tribute to him on X.
