Man dies 1 month after wining £26.5m lottery and using it for his Dental Procedure
A man has tragically died during dental surgery, shortly after winning a £26.5m lottery jackpot, which he used to pay for the procedure.
The man, identified as Antônio Lopes Siqueira, decided to spend part of his winnings from Brazil’s Mega-Sena lottery, the country’s largest, on dental surgery. Unfortunately, he passed away during the operation on December 4th.
The 73-year-old reportedly suffered a sudden illness during the procedure. Paramedics found him in cardiac arrest, and though he was rushed to the hospital, they were unable to revive him.
Siqueira was known to have pre-existing health conditions, including hypertension and diabetes, which may have contributed to his death.
Before his unexpected death, Siqueira was a cattle rancher, buying and selling livestock in Mato Grosso, west of Brasília, Brazil. He won the lottery in November but sadly passed away just a month later.
