I met my husband through a Friend and he is going to be released from prison next year

Kera, a woman who fell in love with a prisoner named G, has opened up about the criticism she faces for being in a relationship with him. 

In an interview with Love Don’t Judge, she shared that her fiancé is currently serving a six-year prison sentence and has already completed five years. He is expected to be released on September 4, 2025. 

How She Met G

Kera explained that she met G through a mutual friend. She admitted feeling nervous at first because of his tattoos and his appearance, but she was drawn to his kind voice. “Me and G started talking on FaceTime in 2023, and we had an instant connection,” she said.  

She said: “So i met G through a mutual friend I was so nervous and I was scared a little bit honestly because i am not used to all those tattoos and his face but his voice is very sweet so me and G started off talking on face time around 2023 and we just had a instant connection “G is very romantic when he wants to be I bailed him out for $20k so he wanted to show his reciprocation of love for me.”

Her Marital Status

When asked about her past, Kera revealed that she has a husband who is serving a 25-year life sentence in prison. She clarified that they are separated and in the process of divorcing. 

“I have a husband who is doing 25yrs life in prison and we are separated and no longer involved and i met G through my Ex-husband girlfriend and me and my husband are in the process of divorce.”She added

How she feels when people judges her relationship, she added: “People tend it judge me and G relationship based of his tattoos and his situation i come with two little girls that are not biologically his.” 

Her Mother’s Reaction

Kera’s mother, Sam, admitted that her first impression of G wasn’t positive. “The frist time i saw him i was like h*ll no tattoos all over his body, face just mean mugging but on the other hand when i watch him interact with her, It is different and at the end of the day i said he is not for me but it is for her.”
