Cher has opened up about how her late friend and colleague Tina Turner sought her help during her abusive marriage to Ike Turner.
Tina, who passed away at 83 in May 2023, once confided in Cher about her struggles and asked for assistance to hide her bruises.
Recalling one incident, Cher shared: “One of the days we were shooting, she came to my room before we went on asking if I had some cover-up. She had a bruise on her arm she didn’t want showing on camera. I told her I had something that would work.”
During that time, Tina also sought Cher’s advice on how she had managed to leave her ex-husband, Sonny Bono, whom she married in 1969 and divorced in 1975.
Cher told her: “I just walked out and kept on going.”
Cher revealed she herself had sought advice from Lucille Ball when considering leaving Sonny.
“I called Lucille Ball to ask for her advice. I told her, “Lucy, I want to leave Sonny and you’re the only one I know that’s ever been in this same situation. What should I do?.” She said
In October 2023, Cher visited Tina for the last time before her death. Despite Tina’s health struggles, the visit was filled with laughter.

Tina had often spoken openly about the abuse she endured during her marriage to Ike Turner, detailing the physical and emotional toll.

In 1968, she attempted suicide by taking 50 sleeping pills backstage before a concert.

The couple shared the joyous news exclusively with PEOPLE, alongside adorable photos of Kristen’s baby bump and ultrasound images.
Reflecting on their journey, Kristen opened up about their struggles with pregnancy loss and how they kept trying for another baby.
“After our pregnancy loss last year, we decided to start trying in early 2024. “I knew my age could be a factor in conceiving, so Luke and I discussed going for an extra push, a little help.” she shared.
She added: “In late summer, we decided to meet with a fertility specialist to learn about our options and what could be the next step if we decided to go that route. The next month was a whirlwind — getting educated on fertility, and eventually hormone shots and preparing my body for IUI (intrauterine insemination)
Talking on how she and her husband met with Dr. Carolyn Alexander at Southern California Reproductive Center she said: “The two weeks following the IUI procedure felt like years. To get a correct outcome on a pregnancy test, 2 weeks time had to pass and I had to wait it out but in my heart I knew it had worked. I tested one day early and got the big PREGNANT result staring back at me.” “I was relieved, overwhelmed, happy, excited and nervous. The second I told Luke, he wasn’t surprised, but was SO happy that IUI worked the first time (we were prepared that it may not). He was joyful and beyond excited, to say the least! Our due date is in June and we are really looking forward to expanding our little family and becoming parents!”
Angelina Jolie has shared a rare update about her children while speaking in an interview with Good Morning America. The actress and filmmaker opened up about her family life amid her ongoing divorce from ex-husband Brad Pitt.
Jolie, who shares six children with Pitt—Maddox (22), Pax (20), Zahara (19), Shiloh (18), and twins Knox and Vivienne (16)—revealed that none of them is interested in pursuing acting or stepping in front of the camera.
“They’re quite private. Shiloh is extremely private. They weren’t born into privacy, so I hope they can have that as they grow,” she shared.

American actor John Stamos has shown heartfelt support for his friend and colleague, Dave Coulier, amid Coulier’s battle with cancer.
In a touching moment shared on Instagram, Stamos helped Coulier shave his head and even shaved his own to stand in solidarity. Alongside a photo of the two, Stamos wrote:

Dave Coulier recently revealed his cancer diagnosis, sharing that it was a fast and intense journey. He discovered the condition through lymph node tests only five weeks before going public. Coulier has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of lymphoma and is undergoing chemotherapy.
Despite the challenges, Coulier is focusing on the positives, noting that the cancer has not spread throughout his body.
Ned Nwoko has once again clarified that his wife, Regina Daniels, was a virgin when they got married.
In a video shared by Regina on social media, her husband is seen speaking with friends and her mother, Rita Daniels. He recounted how Regina told him about the many suitors she had, including pastors and oil tycoons, but she chose to ignore them.

Ariana grande Burst down in tears, shares why she used her Father’s name in movie “Wicked”
Ariana Grande became emotional as she shared her father’s reaction to her decision to change her name to Ariana Grande-Butera.
In an interview with The Streaming Service with Justin Hill, she said, “Technically, it’s little Ari’s name,” holding back tears as she reflected on the significance of the change.
“I feel like I came home to myself in a lot of ways through what I learned from Glinda, from “Cynthia’s character” Elphaba and, you know, that was my name when I went to see the show when I was 10 years old—and it felt like a really lovely way of honoring that.”
While recounting the story, Ariana was also seen crying as she was comforted by her Wicked co-star, Cynthia Erivo.
She added saying: “Oh man… he cried.
“He cried and, you know, that was my name when I first saw Wicked and I do feel, not to sound like a broken record, but I do feel like this role and this project helped me sort of come home to little Ari.
Maybe little pieces of her got lost along the way…”
Ariana also shared that, because of this emotional journey, she added her father’s last name to her credit in the movie. She recalled texting her co-star, Cynthia Erivo, to let her know about the decision.
She continued: “And my dad cried, I surprised him, [director] Jon [M. Chu] was so generous – he sent me the credits because he knew that people were going to start seeing it soon and he was scared someone was going to talk about it before [my dad] got to see it.
“So I pulled it up on my laptop and I recorded him secretly…. it was a big surprise and he cried, it was very emotional.”

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels recently revealed that her mother initially opposed her marriage to her 63-year-old husband, Ned Nwoko.
In a TikTok live video, she shared that the story began when she visited her then-boyfriend but felt frustrated because she was accompanied by a group of people.

Upcoming musician Nell Smith has tragically passed away at the age of 17.
Nell, who was set to release her debut album in 2025, had her passing announced by Simon Raymonde, whose label, Bella Union, was working with Smith to release her first album after recently signing her.
Announcing, he wrote: “We are all shocked and devastated to hear of the sudden and tragic passing of our artist and dear friend Nell Smith, over the weekend in British Columbia.
“Nell was just 17 and was preparing for the release of her first solo record in early 2025 on Bella Union, made in Brighton with Penelope Isles’ Jack and Lily Wolter.”
Nelly family has also shared their tribute writing: “It pains us so much to say that our feisty, talented, unique, beautiful daughter was cruelly taken from us on Saturday night. We are reeling from the news and don’t know what to do or say.
