South Korean actor Song Jae-rim is dead

Popular South Korean actor and model Song Jae-rim has passed away at the age of 39.

Reports indicate that he was found dead in his apartment in the Seongdong District. Song Jae-rim first gained fame with his role in the 2009 film “Actresses” and became more widely recognized in 2012 for his performance in The Moon Embracing the Sun. 

He appeared in numerous TV dramas, including Flower Boy Ramen Shop, Inspiring Generation, Two Weeks, Goodbye Mr. Black, Bad Girls, Our Gap-soon, Surfing House, Let Me Hear Your Song, and Queen Woo.

He also acted Grand Prix, The Suspect, Crazy Love, Yacha, Bait, and Plop: A Man Who Lost His Business.

While the exact cause of his death is still unknown, police have stated that there are no signs of foul play.
