27yr old Singer shot dead after Performing

Alezka Thalia Manrique, a 27-year-old singer, was tragically shot dead inside her tour bus after being abandoned in a ditch following a performance in Peru.

Reports From Dailymail indicate that Alezka was returning with members of the Hermanos Guerreros Orchestra around 5 a.m. on Monday when six armed robbers intercepted their bus in Bagua Grande, Peru, and robbed them.

In a attempt to escape, Alezka ran to the back of the bus, trying to lock herself in the bathroom for protection. However, one of the robbers shot her in the back and leg before leaving her in a roadside ditch. She was rushed to Santiago Apostol Hospital with severe injuries but was later pronounced dead.

Ingrid Vallejo, a representative of the orchestra, informed police that the robbers forced everyone on the bus to look away as they carried out the robbery.”They took the orchestra’s pay and instruments.

“They didn’t let us see because they said that if we turned around to look, they would shoot us.” 

Ingrid told Daily Mail. Before her tragic death, singer Alezka Thalia Manrique had joined the Hermanos Guerreros Orchestra just two months prior.

 She was also on the verge of graduating with a degree in Business Administration.
 Alezka leaves behind her 9-year-old son.
