I got tired of dating and decided to become celibate for 7yrs

A woman named Alexis has shared that she has been celibate for seven years, seeking spiritual growth after being tired with dating. 

In an interview with Love Don’t Judge, she explained that she has faced backlash, particularly from men who accuse her of seeking attention.

She said: “I was fed up of dating so i decided to become celibate i hav currently being celibate for about 7years now I decided to become celibate due to spiritual development Tired of the dating apps and just decided to focus solely on my spiritual growth.

“I started making contents on tiktok 3months ago about my celibate journey since i publicly came out based on my decision to become celibate, i have received alot of backlash mainly from males a lot of hate comments the worst thing i have received is sex threat online and this is from male twice my twice my seniors and it is disgusting.” 

“In the beginning becoming celibate, it was a bit challenging due to my decision which was pretty much different with my peers around me at the time however because i have a solid support system, they tend to make the process a bit easier at this current time, i do not miss intimacy however due to my diagnosis which is “Endometriosis” a lot of the symptoms that comes from endometriosis impacts my day to day life it has impact with my dating life when intimacy was painful physically with celibacy it is easier for my to solely focus on myself rather than become intimate with someone and introduce them to something that they are not necessarily comfortable with.”

“I actually plan for being celibate until I find the right person however if i don’t find the right person the rest of my life.”
