A Kenyan man, Austin Luganji, who recently married Elizabeth Akinyi, a woman of short stature, has opened up about facing accusations that he married her for ritualistic purposes. 

The couple, together for a year and a half, first met four years ago during an acting gig.

In an interview with Tuko, Elizabeth shared that she initially reached out to Austin, who was single and raising his son alone after being abandoned by his former partner. 

During their talking times, The two eventually fell in love and decided to introduce each other to their families. 

However, Austin revealed that his family initially rejected Elizabeth, and he was later accused by others of using her for rituals, with some suggesting that a man with a short-statured wife would become wealthy.

“I have been accused of using her for money-making ritual, but that doesn’t make sense because I am not even rich. They say being with short-statured people makes people rich,” he said in a part
