24yr old man dies after undergoing Cheap botched beard in Turkey

A man named Mathieu Vigier Latour has tragically ended his life following a botched beard transplant in Turkey.

Reports indicate that Mathieu, 24, paid $1,000—an amount he saved up after finding the procedure cheaper in Istanbul than in his home country, France, where it would have cost significantly more.

In March, he traveled to Istanbul for the procedure, which later led him to struggle with severe body dysmorphic disorder, a mental health condition where individuals obsess over perceived flaws in their appearance.

It was also reported that the surgery involved transferring 4,000 hair grafts from his head to his face, during which he lost around 1,000 grafts.

After the procedure, Mathieu discovered that the person who performed the surgery was not a qualified surgeon but, in fact, an estate agent.

Narrting the ordeal, mathieu father said: ““When it started to grow out, it looked like a hedgehog, it was unmanageable.”

“He was suffering, he wasn’t doing well. He was in pain, suffered from burns, and he couldn’t sleepThree months after the surgery, Mathieu took his life at his student accommodation in Paris.

His father added: ““He entered a vicious circle and couldn’t get out.

“If this testimony could prevent this from happening again and alert everyone, I think that would be a tribute to Mathieu.”
