Gabby, a 40-year-old American woman, shared her story of falling in love with her African boyfriend, Elijah, a former bus conductor and bushman.
In an interview with Afrimax, she revealed how many people judged them due to their age gap and even questioned their relationship. Her fiancé, Elijah, added that he doesn’t care about others’ opinions because he knows what he wants and chose to pursue it.
Talking on how people judge them based on their age gap, she said: “I’m almost 40 and elijah is a bit younger than me he is in his early thirties so a lot of people judge us on the age gap but alot of people have commented on that but we don’t care like it is just a number if him and i don’t care about the age gap why should other people care like it is none of their business and it’s just a number and it’s not important.
Elijah on his part said: “I chose what to love and what is good for me and i don’t choose what people choose for me thats my standards and from my standards as long as Gabby verse and the bushman is concerned our love matters and I really love her so much to the end of like, she is the end of my like the love of my life that should be there and they should know about that so i don’t care about age, i dont care about color i don’t care about those culture.”
How people reacted to their relationship when Elijah brought gabby to the village, she said: “The first on how people received us they were like oh the bus man has married a white woman and the reaction was like oh maybe i think she is a bit older than him or probably maybe bushman now this is money you know what they say is money.
Gabby added: “We decided to stay together in this relationship for the long run we are engaged or we are planning to get married like pretty soon maybe in Mombasa.
Gabby shared that she was born in Ireland and lived in the U.S. for many years before beginning her travels to various countries and different parts of the world.
Why she decided to stay in kenya, she said: “I actually came here last year to visit my friend Marwa and then i came back for his party in November because i fell in love with the village because it is so beautiful and then when i came back the second time i just want to explain how i met my fiancee
“I came from Ireland, i stayed in Nairobi for two nights because the first time i came i was super tired and i came straight to the village and i got sick so i decided the second time to rest in Nairobi cause it is a long journey to the village and when i went to the bus station after those two days My now fiancee was also at the bus stop, he was coming from Mombasa because he does a-lot of business in Mombasa with renting and selling properties he told me he has seen me before in his village and asked if i am heading there and i was like yeah he also headed there and ever since that day we have been in separable.”

Woman Left Surprised After Her Missing Cat Returns Home Covered in Blue Dye
According to Sophie, she had been searching for her beloved pet and feared that something terrible might have happened after the cat failed to return home.

Speaking about the incident, Sophie added:

British Explorers Stunned After Discovering Hidden World War II Nazi Bunker in France
The remarkable discovery was made during a trip to northern France after the team noticed a small patch of concrete protruding from scrubland.
Inside, they found original drawings and markings still etched into the walls by the soldiers who had been stationed there more than 80 years ago.
Speaking about the discovery, Stuart, a member of Forgotten and Forbidden Explorers, said:
“We were about to call it a day in France when my colleague noticed a tiny bit of concrete in the scrub.
“What revealed itself inside blew our minds.
“The bunker is in northern France on an old German airfield from 1940.
“A database gave us an idea of where to look but then it was up to us to go and see.
“The item in question could have been demolished so it’s all luck of the draw.
“But it’s all part of the research.”
Stuart added that the bunker is located on private land and believes the landowner is likely aware of its existence.
“It’s on private land so I’d expect the farmer knows it’s there.”
The discovery has fascinated history enthusiasts online, offering a rare glimpse into a wartime structure that has remained hidden for decades.

Couples Arrested After Climbing Empire State Building Antenna for Marriage Proposal
The pair, who were dressed in black, were seen scaling the building’s antenna without safety harnesses before standing on a narrow ledge near the summit, approximately 443 metres (1,454 feet) above Manhattan.

The daring stunt drew the attention of authorities, and shortly after the climbers descended from the antenna at around 1 p.m., officers moved in and arrested them.
