I have been jobless since last year- Nigerian Lady residing in UK laments

A Nigerian lady residing in Aberdeen, Scotland, has taken to social media to plead for a job after being unemployed for a year since moving to the UK. 

The lady, who goes by the username @ojonesnaturals, shared her struggles, stating that she decided to speak up because “a closed mouth is a closed destiny.” She expressed that she can no longer endure her current situation and is now seeking for help and opportunities.

“I’m gradually loosing it. A closed mouth is a closed destiny, I have to speak up.”

“Have been jobless since last year. “Please I need help getting a job in the UK. It’s not as easy as we think.” She said in a now deleted post

This caused a lot of stir as some who are also in her shoes shared their experiences that they are also looking for a job.

Reacting a user wrote: “Please I just moved to Uk, I am looking for a job too. I stay in Chelmsford…I can also work around London and Sheffield. Thank you.” 

Another wrote: “I went through this for 3 years. I am going through it again. So it is not new. I will definitely get a job. Just believe.” 

Another wrote: “Same here in Birmingham. Am losing it already been looking for a job since December nothing yet.”
