The air up here is a challenge and breathing is difficult for me- Man who lived Underground laments as it gets Demolished, gets new house

A Kenyan man named Kevin Onyango, a father of three, has shared his regrets after moving into a regular house above ground.

He noted that His troubles began when his underground home was demolished and replaced with a new house. Since then, Kevin says his life hasn’t been the same.

He explained that ever since the change, he’s been struggling with health problems and feeling uncomfortable in his new surroundings.

He also shared a dream in which his late father appeared, advising him to leave his underground home.

“The air up here was a challenge like breathing was difficult. The air here and there felt different. After coming up here, I got a little sick. My father appeared to me in a dream and asked, “Kevin, why did you tear down the house? You build a good house, then you go back and destroy it?” Then yesterday I dreamt that my house, the one built for me, collapsed. I started running to climb a ladder, and one nail came loose, so I didn’t know what was happening,” Onyango said in a part

Talking about her happiness on their latest house, his wife said: “Right now, guests from my home can come in, but with the first one, my guests couldn’t enter; my father, mother, and sisters wouldn’t come in there.”
