Popular Tiktoker, Shawn J is dead

Popular TikToker, Shawn J, also known as Shawn Jackson, has sadly passed away.

It was reported that Shawn was taken to the hospital due to a thyroid-related health issue but, unfortunately, he passed away on Sunday.

A few weeks before his death, Shawn had shared a video on social media, updating his followers about his health. In the video, he mentioned how his throat suddenly swelled up, making it difficult for him to breathe.

The news was shared by his partner on tiktok which reads: “Hello everyone I’m Shawn J’s kids mother, I’m so heartbroken, this pain is unbearable and my stomach hurts as I prepare to walk through this journey alone because my bestfriend and the love of my life left me, our kids, our family and friends, and all of u [sic] yesterday morning.

“I really do appreciate all the love and support from all of you. He was very loved and respected. I can’t take this pain and I am not ok but I will be strong for me and his kids.

“I will be doing a video soon to talk more about it, but for now I’m at peace with the fact that he loved his kids, he loved you all and his family, as well as me, and he’s no longer suffering and can finally breathe.”

A GoFundMe page has been set up for the late Shawn J, where a family member, Matthew Wilson, shared that Shawn passed away due to an enlarged thyroid.

He said: “Shawn did pass due to undergoing health issues. He had a Thyroid that was non-cancerous but was too enlarged. This health matter has unexpectedly taken over our loved one too soon,

“We want to thank everyone who does have [sic] the continued support for my brother, even with the passing into his after life. It’s unfortunate that we do have to celebrate a beautiful life that’s gone too soon. Thank you for anything you can contribute.”

Shawn sister, Dominique also posted an emotional video on his Tiktok account saying: “‘I wanna say thank you to all his supporters and to everyone who has supported my brother.

“Yes, he has unexpectedly passed away due to some health complications, as you may formally know, yes, he did make a video a few days ago, prior to, from him getting out of the hospital – and things just took a turn for the worst unexpectedly,’ she added.
