I make $160k a year but I still struggle financially
A man who earns $160,000 a year has shared his experience of still struggling financially despite his substantial income.
The man, who works as a concrete patcher in Brisbane, opened up about his situation while speaking on a job app, Getahead, which collects data about people’s work and pay.
He explained that although he works 10.5 hours a day, five days a week, he earns between $2,500 and $3,000 per week. Despite this, he feels like he’s just “working to survive.”
He said: “I’m a concrete patcher. I actually do like repairs on concrete work.”
