Mom gives birth to her 4th baby the same date she welcomed her 3 kids

A South Carolina mom, Kristin Lammert, who gave birth to her first three children on the same day, August 25, has just welcomed her fourth baby—also on August 25.

Kristin, who already has three daughters—Sophia (9), Giuiliana (6), and Mia (3)—was amazed when her newest baby, Valentina, arrived on the same date. 

She told Good Morning America, “We just couldn’t believe it. I keep writing it down, and I still can’t believe it.”

When Kristin and her husband, Nick, realized Valentina might be born on the same day as her sisters, they found it amusing. 

However, at the time, their main concern was the health of the baby and Kristin. “We were mostly focused on making sure she was okay and that I was okay. But when it got closer to midnight, we started to think it was funny,” she said.

Valentina was born prematurely, which was scary for the couple, but Kristin shared that the baby was surprisingly strong, despite being tiny. “She came out very, very strong… It turned out to be the biggest blessing.”

Her older sisters were thrilled to meet Valentina and have been eager to care for her. “They are fighting over who gets to hold her next. It’s been non-stop—‘I want to feed her,’ ‘I want to burp her,’ ‘It’s my turn!’” Kristin shared.

Talking about her recovery, Kristin explained that she had been on bed rest after being diagnosed with preeclampsia. She mentioned, “I’ve been told to take it easy, and this is my first experience with high blood pressure. But everything is starting to go back to normal.”

Reflecting on her journey and giving advice to other moms, Kristin said, “At the end of my pregnancy, I felt like something was wrong, and it turns out there was. It’s important to trust your instincts because sometimes things are out of your control. But everything happens as it’s meant to.”
