43yr old real estate Mogul ends it over debt of $34M

Real estate mogul Brandon Miller tragically took his own life, reportedly due to overwhelming financial troubles.

It was revealed that he was nearly $34 million in debt, with only $8,000 left in his bank account.

A significant portion of his debt was linked to his Hamptons estate at 25 Cobb Isle Road, which is now on the market for $15.5 million. Miller had an unsecured loan of $11.3 million from BMO Bank and owed over $6 million to lender Donald Jaffe, who had previously funded projects for Miller and his father. Additionally, Miller was indebted to American Express and Funding Club, owing them $300,000 and $266,000, respectively.

In his suicide note, Miller expressed that a last-minute business deal that could have saved him had failed, leaving him feeling like there was no way out. He ended his life by inhaling exhaust fumes in his car while his wife, Candice, was traveling in Europe with their two daughters.

Miller waited until his family had left for a weeks-long luxury vacation before starting his car in the garage and allowing the toxic fumes to fill the space, ultimately leading to his death.
