Popular Nigerian actor and TV host Omotunde Adebowale David, also known as Lolo1, has shared her thoughts on why many women opt for body enhancements.
In a podcast titled “Say My Piece,” she mentioned that getting enhancements has become common among women these days.
She made an example, saying that even married men tend to appreciate women with noticeable body enhancements, even when they are with their wives.
Lolo1 also highlighted that many women undergo these procedures due to insecurities or past traumas. She pointed out that men often contribute to the pressure women feel to go under the knife.
“Whether you like it or not, it has become a norm; we are talking about body enhancement. If I could have afforded it, I would have done a breast reduction when I was younger because I had more boobs than girls my age at that time, and I didn’t see it as a symbol. Growing up, I got a lot of negative attention for it. Do you know how long I have been sexualized?” she shared during the podcast.
