A woman identified as Kendra Cathey has shared a glimpse into her marriage, revealing that her millionaire husband takes care of their household expenses while domestic staff handle their daily chores.

A Catholic priest in Ecuador has died after a large wooden crucifix fell on him during a livestreamed Mass, leaving worshippers shocked by the tragic incident.

The priest, identified as Father Patricio Alfredo Sánchez Molinari, was preaching to parishioners both inside the church and those watching online when the incident occurred on Saturday at Perpetuo Socorro Church in Guayaquil, Ecuador’s largest city.

According to reports, the accident happened about 30 minutes into the Mass when the heavy wooden cross mounted on the wall behind the altar suddenly fell on the priest.

Footage from the livestream, which has since circulated on social media, captured the frightening moment. A woman could be heard calling out in distress, saying, “Father, Father … call an ambulance.”

Emergency responders were reportedly called to the scene, but Father Sánchez Molinari was later pronounced dead that same day.

Following his death, the church released a statement expressing its sorrow over the loss of the priest, who served at the parish.

The statement read: “We announce that our beloved Father Patricio Alfredo Sánchez Molinari, who served as parish priest of the Perpetual Help Church in the Central Vicariate, has departed to the Father’s House to enjoy His presence and His glory.”

Popular 7ft2in influencer Xiao Yue has died, with her husband, Zihao, announcing the sad news and revealing details of her health struggles before her death.

According to reports, Xiao Yue suffered from pituitary gigantism and a meningioma, a type of tumour that develops in the membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord.

Her health reportedly deteriorated in July, when her husband disclosed that her condition had worsened.

She later developed severe hyperglycemia, a condition characterised by dangerously high blood sugar levels, which was followed by kidney failure and other complications.

Before her death, Xiao Yue was reportedly scheduled to undergo brain surgery to remove the tumour. However, she passed away before the planned procedure could take place.

Speaking about his wife’s death, Zihao expressed shock over how quickly her condition had progressed, recalling what doctors had initially told him about the procedure.

He said: “The doctor told me it was actually a very mild condition it would just be a minimally invasive procedure to remove the tumor from her brain.

“I never imagined this disease would take someone’s life.

“No matter what people said about her, she would always fulfill their requests”

Zihao also said his wife was now free from pain and illness, expressing hope that she would find peace, joy and freedom from suffering.

The girl, identified as Yuleidy Ixcotoyac, was reportedly declared dead after losing consciousness while her father, Abraham Ixcotoyac, was driving her to a medical centre.

According to reports, her father checked her pulse and breathing but could not detect either. She was subsequently declared dead in the early hours of Saturday.

Speaking to local media about the painful experience, Abraham said, “She had simply ceased to exist; she died on the way,”

He added, “I saw that she was no longer breathing and I couldn’t feel her pulse on her wrists. It was a very difficult situation for me. She did not go to hospital.”

About eight hours later, funeral preparations were underway at the family home in the rural village of El Jocote. Mourners reportedly gathered around 2:30 p.m. after a coffin had been purchased.

However, the funeral took an unexpected turn when Yuleidy reportedly began moving inside the coffin.

Her mother, who said she had insisted that her daughter was still alive, recounted the moment she noticed movement while crying over the coffin.

Speaking about what happened, she said, “I kept saying she was alive; she wasn’t dead.

“When I was crying over her coffin, we opened the window, and she was moving. She was waking up, and suddenly she sat up.”

The incident left the family and mourners shocked as the girl, who had been declared dead earlier, reportedly showed signs of life during the funeral preparations.

According to the man, he became suspicious after noticing something unusual beneath his carpet. When he looked closely, he discovered the head of a large python hiding underneath it.

The discovery frightened him, prompting him to run to the kitchen to get a cutlass before returning to the spot where the snake was hiding.

Narrating what happened in the video, the man said: “I noticed there is something under my carpet I looked very well and saw the python head I now ran away to my kitchen to go and bring cutlass, when i bring cutlass i now used the cutlass to knack the head to the carpet before i used rod to open it see that the python has already been here for a long time as it has laid eggs and now it is covering the egg, the egg has already formed snake because when i saw the color I see that it is not white like that again as it has formed snake children it laid 6 eggs it has been here for more than 2 weeks”

The man explained that the python had laid six eggs beneath the carpet and had been in his house for more than two weeks without his knowledge.

He also said the eggs had started developing, as he noticed that their colour was no longer completely white when he uncovered them.

Premature twin sisters are fighting for their lives at separate hospitals in Boston, Massachusetts, as their parents, Mike and Kelsey Kennedy, worry that an upcoming nurses’ strike could affect their care.

The couple’s daughters, Juliette and Kendall, were born at just 24 weeks on August 31. Due to their medical conditions, the babies were taken to different hospitals for specialised treatment.

Juliette was admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, while her younger sister, Kendall, was transferred to Boston Children’s Hospital for treatment of a severe case of spina bifida. The condition occurs when the spine and spinal cord do not develop or close properly during pregnancy.

Kendall reportedly received treatment within 24 hours of her birth. Juliette was also temporarily transferred to Boston Children’s Hospital last week for heart surgery before returning to Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Nearly six weeks after their birth, both girls remain in stable but critical condition and continue to require intensive medical care.

Their parents have been struggling to divide their time between the two hospitals while also caring for their two other children, a three-year-old and an 11-month-old baby, at home.

Speaking about the difficult situation, Mike told the New York Post: “We feel guilty as it is every time we leave the hospital and can’t bring our children home with us and have them be with their siblings. But at least we had the security of knowing they are in good hands.

“It was obviously hard for my wife to go back and forth, for me to go back and forth, but we were comfortable with that, given the nurses we had.

“Our big concern is losing the nurses and that’s what makes it so difficult – the stress of not having the twins together and also not knowing what type of care that they’re going to be receiving.

“We don’t have any answers. We’ve tried to reach out to the hospital. The nurses, obviously for legal reasons, can’t talk to us, so they just try to comfort us, but we don’t know who’s coming in or what their qualifications are.

“We’re just afraid. We don’t know what we’re up against,” the exasperated father continued, adding that the twins “require such delicate care.

“From day one, we have always wanted them to be together. They were basically hugging one another for 24 weeks in the womb…and then you kind of just rip them out and they’re on their own in traumatic settings,

“Ideally, we would love to just get them in the same place so that my wife can hold them and provide milk for them at the same time.”

Kelsey reportedly managed to hold both babies for the first time this week. The twins, however, remain on breathing tubes as they continue receiving medical care.

According to Mike, doctors had told the family that Kendall might need assistance with walking, using the bathroom and performing everyday activities throughout her life because of her condition.

Despite the challenges, the father said the family remained hopeful about the twins’ progress.

“But luckily, it’s been kind of a miracle — we think that there are good signs.

“We’re just hopeful that everything is going to work out the way it’s supposed to, and that they’ll both continue to heal.

The family’s concerns come as approximately 4,000 nurses at Brigham and Women’s Hospital prepare for an indefinite strike scheduled to begin next week if union representatives and hospital management fail to reach an agreement.

Mike fears that losing the nurses who have been caring for his daughters could create additional uncertainty during an already difficult period for the family.

As the labour dispute continues, the couple hopes their daughters will keep making progress and eventually be able to receive care together, allowing the family to spend more time with both babies.
