Actress Onyeka Onwenu is dead

Veteran Nigerian singer Onyeka Onwenu has passed away.

Reports indicate that she died on July 30th at Reddington Hospital in Lagos State. The incident occurred after she attended a birthday party where she performed. After returning to her seat, she suddenly collapsed.

Although she was rushed to the hospital, she was pronounced dead upon arrival. The cause of her death is not yet known.
