Rapper, Chino XL dies at age 50

American rapper and actor Chino XL has passed away.

Chino XL, whose real name was Derek Emmanuel Barbosa, rose to fame in the mid-1990s with the release of his first album, “Here to Save You All.”

 He continued his successful music career with albums like “I Told You So” in 2001, “Poison Pen” in 2006, and “RICANstruction: The Black Rosary” in 2012.

In addition to his solo work, Chino XL collaborated with other artists on several projects. 

He teamed up with Playalitical for the album “Something Sacred” in 2008, and more recently, he worked with Stu Bangas on the 2023 release “God’s Carpenter,” according to iHeart.

Although The cause of the late rapper’s death has not been announced.
