I breastfed my daughter until she was 6yrs old, I see nothing wrong in it

A woman has revealed that she breastfed her daughter until the age of six. During a podcast, social media influencer Sanziana Buruiana shared her perspective on extended breastfeeding. She mentioned that she allows her children to decide when to stop breastfeeding.

“I don’t stop; I give them until they want to stop,” she said. “There is nothing to cause harm to them, they are both fine.”

Buruiana expressed her surprise at how frequently she is asked about breastfeeding, emphasizing that she considers it normal and beneficial. 

“No matter what I’m doing, people will ask me. It seems normal to me,” she stated. “They will be strong and healthy.”

She continued by explaining that she has breastfed continuously, especially after the birth of her second daughter, without taking a break. 

The mother of two also shared that she breastfed her daughter Izabela until she started school. 

She believes that breastfeeding provides comfort and relief to children, comparing it to a “bandage” that soothes them when they are in pain.

“With the boob, if they have a problem or are in pain, they immediately calm down. I think it is like a bandage for them, a relief. And I couldn’t imagine what it would’ve been like if I hadn’t breastfed them. It would have been even harder to put them to sleep!”
