I love my daughter so much but I don’t like being a mother- Woman Laments

A woman recently took to social media to share that she doesn’t enjoy being a mom.

She explained that as a new mom who recently gave birth to her daughter, she hasn’t felt maternal since giving birth. 

While she loves her baby very much, she also said finds motherhood exhausting and misses her pre-motherhood life.

She said: “I’ve come to the daunting realization that I really just dislike motherhood.

“I’ll spend her naps just looking at her pictures because I’m obsessed with her, but I really don’t like being a mom.

“It just feels like a tiring job that never ends.

“I’m so grateful for my daughter but miss my old life.

“I keep feeling like once she starts walking and talking and being a little more independent, I’ll enjoy it more.”

“I’m so jealous of those women who say they love motherhood and it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to them. Like how?!!!”
