I don’t believe in 1 wife, it’s not part of our culture- Kanayo O Kanayo
Actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has stated that he does not believe in having just one wife because it is not part of his culture. In a podcast with “The Honest Bunch,” he explained that the concept of having one wife is an imported idea.
He also criticized the practice of giving one’s first salary to a pastor, arguing that this money should go to one’s father instead, as no one is a god.
Kanayo mentioned that he was unaware of the concept of divorce until he moved to Lagos State, where he learned that an Igbo man would rather stay in a difficult marriage than get a divorce.
Additionally, he expressed the belief that if an Igbo man were given the opportunity to lead Nigeria, the country would experience significant economic improvements, prompting Nigerians to say “Hallelujah.”
