Nigerian pastor Tomi Arayomi has advised women to stop calling their partners “Babe.”

During a sermon, he explained that calling a man “baby” might contribute to him acting immaturely.

According to Arayomi, this term might reinforce childish behavior in men, while women, who often use this term affectionately, end up carrying more responsibility and showing more faith in the relationship.

He suggested that this dynamic might lead to men behaving more like children because of how they are addressed.
