Popular K-pop singer Wheesung has been found dead in his apartment at the age of 43. According to fire department officials, he was discovered on Monday evening after suffering cardiac arrest.

Authorities, including investigators from the Seoul Gwangjin Police Station, suspect that his death may be linked to drug abuse, as he had a history of substance-related issues.

Wheesung rose to fame in 2002 with his hit record Like a Movie, which earned him major awards and cemented his place in the South Korean music industry. Over the years, he became not only a celebrated artist but also a songwriter, creating music for top K-pop groups like Twice and Super Junior.

However, his career took a downturn in 2021 when he was arrested and convicted for purchasing and using Propofol, a powerful anesthetic. As a result, he was suspended from the music industry and sentenced to a one-year prison term, which was waived on the condition that he committed no further offenses. Additionally, he was fined $41,000 and required to complete a drug treatment program.

Nigerian singer Mr Eazi has sadly announced the passing of his mother.

Real Housewives of Potomac star Karen Huger has been sentenced to two years in prison following her conviction on multiple charges, including driving under the influence, negligent driving, failure to control her speed, and failure to update her address with authorities.

The sentencing came after her court appearance on Wednesday. Reports state that Huger was arrested last year while driving her 2017 Maserati. She allegedly struck a median and a crosswalk sign at an intersection before colliding with a parking sign and coming to a stop just off the roadway.

Following her arrest, police bodycam footage surfaced on social media, showing Huger and her husband, Ray Huger, speaking with officers near her damaged vehicle.

During the interrogation, an officer asked Huger if she remembered the accident, to which she responded, “Yes.” However, when asked what happened, she downplayed the incident, saying, “Actually, nothing really.”

Ray then interjected, claiming that someone had run her off the road, a statement Huger quickly agreed with.

“Yeah, somebody ran you off the road.” Ray replied

When questioned about her level of intoxication, Huger admitted, “I was out, but I’m good.” The officer pressed further, asking, “How drunk are you?”

Instead of answering directly, Huger directed the officer to speak with Ray, who was not present at the time of the crash. The officer responded, “I can’t talk to your husband; he’s not involved in this incident.”

Huger insisted, “No, he is. He is.” Meanwhile, Ray searched through her purse to retrieve her license.

The officer then asked again, “How much did you drink tonight?” Huger turned to Ray and asked, “Ray, are you good?”

Ray replied, “I’m good. I’m just saying they’re assuming you had more than you should have. And I’m assuming you had, like, a couple beers or something like that.”

Huger then confirmed, “Yes, that’s all I had.”

Former NFL star Steve Smith Sr. has been caught in a cheating scandal after alleged leaked messages were shared on X (formerly Twitter) before being deleted.

In a now-deleted post, X user Tony Martinez (@Lambeaughini) shared a video call recording, accusing Smith of having an affair with his wife.

Along with the video, Martinez also posted screenshots of messages that Smith allegedly exchanged with his wife, with whom he shares four children.

Despite the controversy, Steve Smith Sr. has not yet responded to the cheating allegations made against him.

Popular businesswoman and Real Housewives of Dubai star Caroline Stanbury has revealed that she is suffering from a painful and worsening eye infection.

Earlier this week, she noticed swelling in her eyes but didn’t expect it to escalate so severely. She initially tried eye drops and medication to reduce the swelling but saw no improvement.

Stanbury speculated that the infection might have been caused by her recently washed makeup brushes but couldn’t be sure. She also mentioned experiencing a bad headache alongside the eye irritation.

“It’s gotten worse, not better. I’ve taken antihistamine, I’ve had drops. We’re now in hospital “I should’ve probably gone a few hours ago, but I didn’t think this was going to happen.” She told her Tiktok followers

Updating fans, she shared that she and her husband, Sergio Carrallo, had gone to the hospital but were unhappy with their experience with the doctors.

Describing her frustration, Stanbury said, “I’ve never heard of anything like this in my life. What is intense conjunctivitis?”

She added saying: “It’s so painful. I think you can see how bad this is. I mean you have to be bloody blind [to not see].”

Her husband, Sergio, also chimed in, shocked at how quickly the infection developed. “The crazy thing is, this happened within one day,” he said.

Legendary singer and songwriter Phil Collins has revealed that he can no longer play the drums due to serious health issues.

Speaking to Mojo Magazine, he shared his struggle, saying:“I keep thinking I should go downstairs to the studio and see what happens. But I’m not hungry for it anymore. The thing is, I’ve been sick—very sick…”

It could be recalled that Genesis performed their concert in March 2022 as part of The Last Domino? tour. Former bandmate Peter Gabriel did not participate but was present at the London show.

At the time, Gabriel revealed that Collins was unable to perform due to his health.

He said: “Phil wasn’t in as great a shape as he used to be, but they did a great job,”

“Me going was a rite of passage, really. I’d been part of the creation of Genesis, so I wanted to be there at the end.”

And then Phil sat back in his chair, watching his son, Nic Collins, take over on the drums.

Talking on how he feels, he said: “It’s still kind of sinking in a bit…

“I’ve spent all my life playing drums. To suddenly not be able to do that is a shock.”

“If I can’t do what I did as well as I did it, I’d rather relax and not do anything.

“I just feel like I’ve used up my air miles.”

Phil suffers from a condition called drop foot, which makes it difficult to lift the front part of his foot due to muscle weakness or paralysis.

Veteran actor John Amaefule has been hospitalized after suffering a stroke.  

The news was shared by Nollywood producer Stanley On-Top, who revealed that the stroke affected the left side of Amaefule’s brain. He is currently receiving treatment at FMC Owerri.
